Session 1 |
Connecting User Communities:Pursuing joint operational capabilities, towards an Unmanned Systems Master PlanAs diverse user communities recognize the benefits of operating unmanned systems within their unique operational purviews, it is increasingly important to undertake effective programmatic collaboration across community boundaries in order to minimize negative impacts of disagreement on the success of Joint DoD, Coalition, and inter-agency operations.
Recently the government has adopted a stance which seeks to encourage a high level of collaboration amongst established unmanned systems user bases, and in this session we explore the roadmap towards programmatic cooperation between these groups.
A key goal is to foster the idea of an overall Unmanned Systems Master Plan, while providing a forum to discuss the benefits to and concerns of all communities and industry partners with a vested interest in its eventual implementation. |
